Community Health and Development (CHD)...
CHD is a large part of the on-going work with the poor we at
bajmission.com are directly involved in world-wide.

God cares about the poor, and calls each of us 'spend ourselves
on behalf of the hungry' (see Isaiah chapter 58). Jesus said, "... I
was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and
you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited
me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you
looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... I tell
you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of
mine, you did for me." (Luke 25:35-40)

WHOLISTIC MINISTRY is a vital way for caring with God's heart in
the 2/3rd world... It's concerned with the whole person, not just
their physical health. We work to care for the WHOLE person in all
we do!

CHD is about safe drinking water, safe food, ENOUGH food, safe
shelter, safe waste disposal, safe pregnancy and birth, disease
prevention, reduction of infant and childhood deaths from
preventable causes... it also involves social justice...
